SUPER - An AiF/IGF Project

The SUPER project is a national Industrial Collective Research Project (IGF: Industrielle Gemeinschaftsforschung) which is supported by the AiF - German Federation of Industrial Research Association. Leading partners are the Fraunhofer Research Institution for Large Structures in Production Engineering (IGP) and the Technical University of Hamburg-Harburg (TUHH). AES is proud to be a member of the advisory board.

The project targets in the R & D of an Augmented Reality System, aiming to increase labour productivity during outfitting processes at the maritime industry - especially those of manual works done at manufacturing of cruisers and luxury yards - by improving the information flow between workers on the shopfloor and other involving departments, such as QC and Planning departments.
