FLEETfor55 on its way. Early this year the EU funded project State-oF-the-art sustainabLe Energy Efficiency Technologies roadmap for waterborne transport towards the fit-for-55 guidance compliance has been kick-offed. The project aims to align the European waterborne sector with the EU’s “Fit for 55” environmental targets for 2030 through a holistic roadmap that identifies cost-effective and sustainable Energy Efficiency Technologies (EETs) for short sea, inland waterway, and high-seas vessels.
